The Mall at Miami Worldcenter is a joint venture between two of the nation’s most widely respected developers, The Forbes Company and Taubman. The mall features Macy’s and Bloomingdales and is the hub of Miami Worldcenter, which spans more than 25 acres at the northern end of the Central Business District directly across from the American Airlines Arena. Miami Worldcenter is one of the largest and most exciting new urban developments in the United States – offering a diverse mix of retail, residential, office, hotel, and entertainment components.
The Agency was charged with developing a brand identity for the center, including a unique way to introduce the project to the world. The logo was inspired by the spires of the signature building which surrounds the project, yet represent the “M” and the “W” of the project name. A video was created, in conjunction with a Toronto-based CGI company, that showcased the project and the market. The initial launch included unique, one-of-a kind marketing pieces, delivered in combination with a dynamic website, digital and social media.
Projects such as The Mall at Miami Worldcenter are few and far between. The industry’s reaction was nothing short of incredible. Since its introduction, interest in the project hasn’t wavered. Given the center’s unrivaled developers, its stalwart anchors and its unparalleled location, the project is poised to change the retail landscape of Miami.
