Somerset Collection is one of the most revered luxury shopping centers in the country, boasting a roster of the world’s greatest retailers such as Gucci, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Ralph Lauren, Tiffany & Co., and Giorgio Armani. This Forbes Company center is anchored by Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Macy’s.
As a fashion leader, both within the market and the country, Somerset Collection desired to create a more digital presence for themselves. With the launch of a new website in the late summer of 2014, a central driver would be video. Having served as the center’s advertising agency for more than 13 years, we were tasked with developing a series of short fashion films to be used both on the site and in social media.
This was the first film released in the series. Shot in the Soho neighborhood of New York City, it uses black and white footage in a rather unique way. Featuring the latest in fall trends and the hottest designers, the film follows a non-traditional trajectory to showcase just how much of a fashion leader Somerset Collection really is. It was an Official Selection in the International Berlin Fashion Film Festival in 2015.
