For the second year in a row, Panzano+Partners was invited to be a part of the prestigious La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival. The festival sifts through over 11,000 entries each year to curate one of the best fashion film festivals in the world. The film “The Station”, which was created for Somerset Collection as part of their ongoing Somerset Films Series, was not only an Official Selection in this year’s festival, but was nominated in the categories of Best Cinematography and Best Accessories. The Station tells the story of a young man leaving home for the first time. As he arrives to The Station he encounters a beautiful, yet elusive woman. It’s not clear whether she’s real or a figment of his imagination. The film, shot in historic Kempton, PA, utilized vintage trains from the turn of the last century, as well as a restored train station, to create a world that was both nostalgic and modern. Fashion brands featured included Louis Vuitton, Anne Fontaine, Gucci, Max Mara, and Salvatore Ferragamo. The film was written and directed by David Todd McCarty, a Partner and Executive Creative Director at Panzano+Partners. Cinematography by Andrew David Watson. Executive Producer of the series is Claudio Kuhn. Produced by Mie Jensen.
